A capital equipment manufacturer whose equipment incorporates large metal service panels for access was interested in finding an alternate source for a quick acting tool operating captive fasteners on these panels. For several years, the customer had experienced poor quality, considerable pricing and long lead times with the incumbent supplier and had difficultly finding a new supplier who would be willing to develop the tooling and capital equipment for the project. |

Matdan's Manufacturing Engineers designed and developed new capital equipment dedicated to support the production of the new part. The result was a more cost effective solution for the customer that met all design and quality criteria. To-date, Matdan has become the sole supplier on this part and has not had any quality or delivery problems.
