Low profile captive fasteners are ideal solutions when parent material thickness is not sufficient to countersink, but protrusion above the face of the panel must be kept to a minimum. The thread length of the stud provides sufficient thread engagement with the mating part while allowing maximum play along the axis of the sleeve, preventing jacking. |
